Red Dead Online’s November update is transforming the frontier into a bustling hub of activity, focusing specifically on Traders. As the winter chill approaches, Rockstar Games is giving Traders a leg up, but everyone is eating good for the rest of the month. Red Dead Online players can look forward to rewards, bonuses, and exclusive items that celebrate the spirit of abundance and gratitude.
But first things first, the Traders. Every perfect carcass, pelt, skin, and hide contributed to their business will yield twice the usual Trader Materials for this month. This boost comes at an opportune time, allowing Traders to stock up for the increased demand ahead of the colder months of the year. Mind you, the benefits don’t stop there. All Trader Sales will also generate double the normal RDO$, XP, and Role XP, providing a significant boost to both wallets and experience.
The Trade Route Free Roam Event takes center stage this month, offering triple the RDO$ and XP for those who can successfully defend a train full of valuable goods from bandits. Players who participate in this event before December 2 will be rewarded by a pair of Rexroad Boots, adding a touch of frontier style to their wardrobe.
The spirit of cooperation is also strong this month, with a 50% bonus on RDO$ and XP for those who team up in a Posse for Free Roam Events and Missions.
As Thanksgiving approaches, Red Dead Online is pulling out all the stops to celebrate. Players who log in during Thanksgiving week (November 26 – December 2) will receive the West Elizabeth Bandana as a token of appreciation.
In keeping with holiday traditions, the game is offering a tenfold increase in RDO$ to sell turkeys to the Butcher, with complimentary drinks at saloons and free food provisions throughout the holiday week to match.
The Featured Series this month also promises players intense action with a robust lineup of Showdown modes. Players can earn double Ability Card XP and Gold, making it an excellent opportunity to level up and pad their coffers. The series runs until December 2, with each week showcasing a different theme. Winners in the Featured Series will be rewarded with the stylish Dunster Shirt.
Fashion-forward players will be delighted by the return of Limited-Time Clothing items. Until December 2, players pay the Tailors or peruse the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue to acquire coveted items such as The Danube Outfit, The Tasman Outfit, Gator Hat, Patterned Bandana, and many more. This is the perfect chance to refresh wardrobes with some of the frontier’s most sought-after styles.
But, that’s not all. The game is also offering a series of weekly and monthly rewards to keep players engaged. Traders who log in will receive 20 Small Game Arrows and 3 Potent Miracle Tonics, available until December 2. Setting up a Persistent Posse is free for the entire month, encouraging players to band together. Completing specific tasks, such as reaching Plentiful Material Status in the Trader Camp or crafting an item at the Campfire, will unlock unique items like the Fake Beard and Goldwing Spurs.
Each week brings challenges and rewards. From November 5-11, completing a Trader Sale will earn players the Faucheux Gloves. The following week, November 12-18, players who complete their Trader Daily Challenges for three consecutive days will receive the Clovelly Pants. Another Trader Sale between November 19-25 unlocks the Pittman Shirt. The final week, November 26 – December 2, challenges players to either rank up five times or reach Rank 20 as a Trader to earn the Amador Hat.
As a grand finale, players who complete all four weekly incentives will be rewarded with the New Threads Emote.
